Beaumont Adams M1854 Percussion .54 bore Revolver in CS serial number range

This revolver, serial number 34302, falls directly between two Beaumont-Adams with known Confederate association. Those two revolvers, 33246 and 36853 , are documented to have direct provenance to Confederate use. This is addressed in THE ENGLISH CONNECTION by Pritchard & Huey with Mike Nichols, Tim Prince & Dean Thomas. Generous amounts of blue remaining overall with an unmarked backstrap. Some evidence of rust pitting visible on frame directly on the strap above the cylinder and on edges in front of cylinder on the barrel. With so much blue it is hardly noticeable. Mechanically perfect with nice checkered wood grips Serial numbers and London Armory marks clearly visible on the frame and cylinder.
