Nice framed photograph of the veterans reunion of the 2nd New York Infantry held May18th,1886. Interesting hand written note on back by the grandson of one of the veterans identifies his grandfather in the picture. The veteran is identified as Frederich Epting seated on the front row 8th person from the left. Epting was wounded 8/27/1862 at Bristoe Station. In that action the 2nd New York suffered 12 KIA and 25 wounded. Private Epting was discharged 1/30/1863.
