Paris LeMatt second model revolver serial number 1818. This gun has a tight and crisp action with some freckling and traces of original blue remaining in protected areas. It is interesting to note that one example in the West Point Museum is serial number 1812, only a few numbers from this gun. All serial numbers are matching and the gun has never been cleaned. The top of the barrel is marked Syst. LeMatt Bte. S.G.D.G. Paris. The flip down lever to contact the nipple may be a old replacement but matches perfectly. The nipples are crisp and perfect and looks almost unfired. Overall a very nice example of rare handgun.
