Nice example with all matching serial numbers. Sub assembly number(6) visible on the wedge, grips and trigger guard. Original cylinder with serial number 3406 and the usual twist seen on Griswold Revolvers. All brass parts have a nice mustard patina. The iron parts have some pitting in several areas and retain a light brown patina. Action is a little sloppy but works fine. The loading lever is correct without any numbers and has a repair on the very end with a replaced latch. Cryptic letter E visible on the end of the barrel. The gun is a little loose from field service but overall is a nice example of a rare confederate revolver.
