Confederate officer posed with his sword and quite possibly a Griswold Revolver. Close up viewing seems to show a frame that is lighter than the iron cylinder and a square trigger guard common in Griswolds. Inside the case is a piece of paper with a pencil ID as John Humphreys. Research indicates that there are too many Confederate Officers with that name to obtain a positive identification. Clear view of a dashing officer with some emulsion spotting in the background. I bought this one recently for my collection but I found a rare item I need to purchase. Housed in a thermoplastic case.
