This nice Confederate canteen is from the Steve Mullinax Collection. Known as the so called "Richmond Style" it was commonly issued to the Army of Northern Virginia troops as evidenced by field recoveries. It is convex on one side and flat on the other side. The flat side has no dents or pushes. The convex side is pushed in, in the center but does distract. All sling attachment devices are present and secure, no sling however.
