Early production Spiller & Burr Revolver serial number 218. The barrel has the 218 serial number with 1273 crossed out indicating use of the barrel from another revolver. Grips are nice with the pencil serial number partially visible inside the grip. All parts appear original and serial numbered with the exception of the loading leaver, toggle and catch which are replacements. The trigger and internal parts have also been replaced. Twist marks are visible on the cylinder, Overall this is a early and decent example of a rare Confederate Revolver priced to sell.
