Vermont soldiers Pay Voucher

This pay voucher is in real nice condition with no tears, stains or fading. It is in a frame that was done by a novice and should be reframed. It is Identified to Private Henry Glynn of Company "D" of the 9th Vermont Infantry. The voucher was signed by Henry Glynn on Apr 20, 1865 in Mont Holly, Vermont where he resided. Henry Glynn Enlisted on 8/18/1864 as a Private into Company "D" 9th Vermont Infantry and was Mustered Out on 6/12/1865 serving only 10 months.

According to my research the 9th Vermont was merely along for the ride and did not do much. officers Killed or Mortally Wounded: 2
Officers Died of Disease, Accidents, etc.: 3
Enlisted Men Killed or Mortally Wounded: 22
Enlisted Men Died of Disease, Accidents, etc.: 278
