War of 1812 Leather over Wood Cartridge Box

The type written note with this cartridge box states it was found in a home near Somersworth, New Hampshire and came from the M.R. Conner collection. Leather is in good condition and still retains the wood cartridge block inside to hold 24 cartridges. The leather latch tab remains but is torn. The attaching tab on the box is missing. An early cartridge box in above average condition worthy of of the finest collections
