Unmarked Confederate light artillery saber in nice condition. Confederate made light artillery sabers are rare. Typical southern scabbard with crude lapped seam with brass mounts. Grips retain about 90% of the original leather wrap with iron wire. All the brass with a nice even color. The blade has the classic unstopped fuller with the visible fault lines typically found on confederate unmarked sabers. This sword has a number of characteristics of swords manufactured by the Haiman brothers in Columbus, Georgia.
