A nice group of relics from Fort Heilman near Middleburg, Florida on Black Creek. Grouping consist of 8 musket balls, 3 equipment buckles, musket flint holder, 3 eagle A buttons and a small size eagle Dragoon button. Fort Heilman was in existence from 1836-1842 and was a supply depot and an assembly point for operations against the Seminole Indians in East Florida. Excavated on private property with permission from the owner.
