Very rare to find the set complete. The scabbard has 2 buttons to attach the linen cross belt in this original untouched set. The bayonet is considered to be the model 1835 and was standard on model 1835, 1840 and model 1842 muskets. This set came with a a Nippes Maynard alteration musket that I will be listing later. All leather is intact and in fine condition without any breaks. The linen sling is pliable with a few edge tears and one hole as shown in the photos. The bayonet has an overall grey mottled appearance with a strong US stamping.
