Nice untouched example of the Model 1819 Hall Breechloading rifle converted from flint to percussion. The breech block is dated 1832 and and marked J.H. HALL over H.FERRY US. All the metal has an age old deep dark patina with some light pitting visible in areas. All mechanical functions are excellent and in good working order. The wood is fine with minor nicks and dings from use. The lacquer finish on the cheek of the stock has some surface crazing as shown in the photos. Decent uncleaned example of an arm that saw early use by both sides during the Civil War.
