Standing view of William S. Pesnell proudly displaying his D guard Bowie knife and his musket. Private Pesnell enlisted in the Eastern Calhoun County Boys who became company F of the 22nd Alabama infantry. William Pesnell did not survive the war but I have not been able to determine how he met his demise. 1/4 plate ambrotype housed in a full leatherette case.
