Confederate Richmond Sharps Carbine
Item #: g3386
Click on an image to enlarge
Nice example of the Richmond Sharps Confederate carbine. This one is way above average condition for what you normally see in these carbines. This one is serial number 3795 on the lock and marked Richmond Va. on the barrel. The stock has the usual nicks and scrapes for a gun that actually saw use. Metal is dark and in un-cleaned condition. Machining flaw is visible on the lock as shown in the pictures. The breech block is the original Richmond block. A fine example of an important Confederate Cavalry weapon.
