Brady CDV seated view of General Richardson. Richardson was commissioned into the field and staff of the 2nd Michigan infantry and rose to the rank of Major General on July 4, 1862. He was wounded at the Battle of Antietam and later died of his wounds on November 3, 1862. The image has a crease running across the forehead as shown in my photos.
