Small Dirk or Bowie Knife

Small Bowie knife or sometimes called ladies dirks in good condition with the scabbard. This one made by Abraham Leon 190 Holly Street Sheffield. Leon was active from 1849 until around 1881. German silver grips an ferrel with a bone handle. There is pitting around the makers name and it is difficult to read. Nicely etched on the blade is "The Great Lion" Leather scabbard is intact with German silver mounts. The attachment final has been neatly repaired with an old trouser button. Overall length is 1.5" with a 6" blade.
