Iowa Soldiers 2 volume set of Tennyson Poems

Identified two volume set of the Poetical Works of Alfred Tennyson published by Ticknor and Fields of Boston in 1865. Neatly inscribed inside one volume is " J.L.Tinkham Lt. 8th Iowa bought in Mobile, Ala. May 1865." On the inside cover of both is Bertha L. Tinkham Benton, Iowa. Research indicates that Bertha was Lieutenant Jacob Tinkham's daughter born in 1872. Lieutenant enlisted in company D 8th Iowa Infantry as a private 9/16/1861 and mustered out as a 1st Lieutenant at Selma, Alabama on 4/20/1866. The 8th Iowa suffered heavy losses at the Battle of Shiloh where Lieutenant Tinkham was captured. He also suffered a slight wound in the thigh at Memphis on 8/21/1864. Binding on both copies is intact with scuffing on the edges of the leather with on piece missing as shown in the photos.
