TIN DRUM CANTEEN - Mullinax Canteen

Tin drum canteen from the Steve Mullinax Collection is convex on both sides. Has a neat carved wood stopper with part of the period cotton cloth cord attached. Has been varnished at some point giving it a nice looking protective coat. Similar to the Confederate canteens listed on page #74 and #75 of Civil War Canteens by Sylvia and O'Donnell. Dents from field use on one side.
