Relic Confederate Cavalry Saber

Confederate Cavalry Saber in relic condition missing approximately 2/3 of the copper scabbard. The was one of the rare copper scabbards associated with the products manufactured in Kennansville, North Carolina. The blade is dark black but smooth and devoid of rust and has the Kennansville style rounded spine blade. The brass guard is almost black and has the dished out underside of the guard often associated with Boyle and Gamble cavalry sabers. None of the grips remain.
