Item #: 111

M 1819 Flintlock pistol altered to percussion by Thomas J. Adams of Richmond, Virginia for the Confederate Government. All metal parts with a deep almost black patina with pitting visible in some places. Wood is in fine condition with the normal nicks and dings from shooting at Yankees. The main spring appears to be weak or broken so the hammer has no tension when cocked. Overall a decent example of a firearm used by the Confederacy at the beginning of the war.
