Confederate Wood Drum Canteen
Item #: G3373
Click on an image to enlarge
A nice solid example of the Confederate cedar wood canteen. On one side it is carved what appears to be J.E. Miller and on the other side has the initials J.E.M. then the initials J.B. Research reveals too many possibilities to pinpoint who our guy is, but still a wonderful Confederate canteen. Both iron bands and all strap retainers present and solid. The Spout is missing and has what appears to be where a rodent chewed on the wood, making the hole larger.
