Beautiful sword with CSA under the guard with an etched blade. Unfortunately the scabbard is not with the sword. Approximately 90% of the original leather grip remains with some erosion in a couple spots. All of the twisted brass wire is intact and is in good condition. The blade is slightly dark with nice etching depicting CSA with Confederate flags and floral motifs. The brass guard has an even brown patina with a beautiful CSA cast in the under guard.
