Ames saber bayonet serial number 207 with an .895 socket bore. This bayonet fits the New Hampshire alteration of the Mississippi Rifle with the screw on bayonet lug. Uncleaned example with a mottled appearing blade with the Ames marking visible. The spring loaded locking mechanism is fine and functions properly. The leather scabbard is intact with crazing on both sides as noted in my photographs.
