Louisiana state seal belt plate depicting a pelican feeding her young. Die stamped brass face lead filled with brass belt hooks. It is on quite possibly the original belt. From looking a the scrapes where the buckle rides it appears to have been there for a very long time. It would be hard to improve on this one.
