Cabinet style photograph measuring 7 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches mounted on an 8/10 card. Written in pencil at the bottom is The Monitor warship St. Simons Island. Stamped on the back is the photographer's mark M.Edw. Wilson the photographer Savannah, Georgia. M. Edward Wilson operated in Savannah in the late 1800's. I would date this to around the Spanish American War.
