Nice M1861 .69 caliber cartridge box made by Emerson Gaylord. Approximately 25,000 were delivered to the State of New York in 1862. Nice condition retaining the original box plate and tins. Belt loops, latch tab and roller buckles are all present and in fine condition. The leather is pliable with some crinkling in areas. Overall a very nice cartridge and better than most offered for sale.
