These 2 images were found in the Davis family photo album. The family was from Elkland, Tioga County Pennsylvania. Inside the album the soldier is identified as uncle Jimmy. My research indicates that this more than likely George James Davis who served in the 2nd Pennsylvania cavalry. Clear image but has several scratches and creases. The tintypes were in the album and not mounted in a case. The image in width is not the standard 1/4 plate size. I mounted in a 1/4 plate 1/2 case and it displays well. I taped it on the back to hold it in place
