Interesting box with the name W.D. Holland scratched on the front flap. On the inside of the flap are initials WDH. The box resembles a Union with the exception of the round tack holes opposed to the star holes found on most US boxes. The belt loops are sewn and riveted with copper rivets. The box is in fine condition the latch tabs, Roller buckles and brass finial intact. The box is missing the tins otherwise very good. My research finds at least 6 possible matches. South Carolina, Alabama and North Carolina and 2 from Illinois. I doubt even Matlock could figure it out.
