Beautiful Leech & Rigdon staff officers sword in fine condition. The gentleman that I got this from stated that it was deaccesed from a New England Historical Society years ago. Untouched condition with a beautiful age old brownish patina on all brass parts. Grips and wire wrap are 100% intact and in fine condition. The original leather scabbard is in fine condition and pliable. The blade has a mottled gray appearance and is not etched. Overall the is one of the nicest condition Confederate swords I have had the pleasure of owning.
