Very historic church near Lorton, Virginia where George Washington, Robert E. Lee and George Mason worshiped. During the Civil war it was vandalized by members of the 2nd Michigan Infantry and others under command of General Sam Heintzelman. Later during the war it was used as a base of operations for Thaddeus Lowe as a base of operations for his balloon flights.
