Very large framed grouping of United Confederate Veterans' reunion medals and ribbons attributed to Joseph R. Hughes, who served in the 48th Alabama Infantry. Of interest is the Confederate Gardnier bullet with 7 pines scratched into it. Research indicates that Joseph Hughes was wounded on August 30, 1862, at 2nd Manassas, Virginia.
