Fine example with the barrel and lock dated 1860 year of production. Overall, a nice gun with strong inspectors' cartouches visible in the wood. All metal parts have an overall gun metal grey patina with strong markings. The mechanical action is fine with good rifling in the .58 caliber bore. The wood is fine with the exception of a dent about 6 inches behind the barrel tang, as shown in my photos.
