Near relic condition barn find Palmetto musket showing hard use. The iron butt-plate has the S.C.marking visible. The Palmetto Armory and Columbia, S.C., 1852 markings are visible on the lock. The Wm. Glaze mark is partially visible on the barrel. The wood is beat to hell and back, missing pieces around the lock and barrel tang. If this one could talk, I am sure it would have some great stories to tell. If you listen carefully in the background, you can hear Dixie and a few strains of the Bonnie Blue flag. The parts are worth what I am asking.
