Union pattern of 1864 US embossed cartridge box in fine condition with the original tins. Leather latch tab is intact and both iron roller buckles are present. Interestingly it is on an British import belt with the snake hook type buckle from the Civil War. The 2 inch leather belt is in fine condition with the leather cape flap present behind buckle. The buckle has a nice pleasant age patina and is of the tobacco leaf pattern associated with. Alexander Ross & company of London, England.
