The book consist of 140 letters From Private Silliman to his family during the War Between The States. Silliman served with The Army Of The Potomac October 1862- September 1863, in South Carolina October 1863-February 1864, and in Florida February 1864-June 1865. Battles and campaigns through the eyes of an enlisted very important is an inventory of Jefferson Davis's private property captured at Waldo, Florida June 15, 1865. Paper back, 117 pages, with illustrations.
