Interesting single shot .22 cal rimfire pistol made by Devisme Paris, France. The wood grips and for-end are beautiful carved with a scroll motif and are in fine condition. The serial number 4204 is stamped into the butt of the grip and is visible. The trigger guard and butt-plate have a very nicely executed intricate scroll work engraving throughout. The barrel retains some of the original blue finish and gold inlay scroll work along with the Devisme Paris markings. The action is crisp but the hammer will not hold on full cock.
