Delightful little pistol circa early to mid 1700's in Flint with 2 barrels. Nicely engraved flags on one side with an drum on the opposite are visible on the brass frame. It is unmarked as to maker but carry's the stamped initials EX on the frame behind the top barrel. Grips are very nice with very fine checkering on each side. The 8 inch barrels are .41 caliber with some rifling remaining. The pistol has a lever that can position as a safety or adjusted to direct fire to each individual barrel. The mechanical action operates fine and is fully functional. It would be nice piece to have for a leisurely excursion down the streets of San Francisco or Chicago.
