Reprint copy of the story of the Swamp Fox of Florida, Captain J.J. Dickinson of the 2nd Florida Cavalry. Originally written by his wife and published in 1890 it chronicles his many exploits during the Civil War including the sinking of a Yankee Ship using artillery by his cavalry regiment. His unit held the notoriety of never being defeated during the war. Nice tight 261 page copy with a couple minor scrapes and hard to find.
