Carbine cartridge box with wooden block probably for the Spencer Carbine. Rare makers name, Dingee and Lorigan New York sharply stamped on the inside flap. The leather is pliable with the usual surface crazing associated with aged leather. One of the iron roller buckles for the over the shoulder strap is missing but overall the rest of the box is in fine condition.
