Very limited production percussion rifle made by Henry Derringer of Philadelphia. Barrel has an integral bolster and is sharply marked Derringer Philadelphia still retaining the original rifling. The lock plate has strong markings with a US over Deringer Philadelphia. All the metal parts have a mostly overall deep brown patina. The wood is very nice free from any cracks with a few nicks and scrapes from use. The lock action is mechanically perfect and is very crisp. The rifle still retains it's original ramrod with the brass tulip on the end. A very fine condition arm that would compliment the finest collection.
