217-page Cavalry tactics manual identified to Lieutenant Samuel Prentis Curtis who served in the 2nd Iowa infantry and the 16th Kansas cavalry. Inscribed in the inside cover is Dwight Curtis who was the son of Samuel Curtis. Inscribed on page 17 is Samuel Prentis Curtis. Some scuffing on the spine and corners but otherwise in good condition.
