Nice example of the Colt middle 4th model 1851 Navy revolver serial number 132006 indicating early 1863 production. All matching serial numbers including the wedge with a generous amount of original blue finish remaining on the barrel. The Naval engagement scene is clearly visible on the cylinder and the barrel is strongly marked with New York barrel address. The action is crisp and is mechanically perfect with the cylinder rotating perfectly. The wood grips retain the original finish and are fine with the exception of some wood damage on the lower left grip. The bottom of the grip has some damage also as noted in my photographs. The back strap is nicely inscribed ALWAYS WITH HONOR MAUDE.
