Attic condition Austrian carbine in untouched condition. These carbines were altered from tube lock to percussion and imported by both sides during the American civil War. The .75 caliber barrel is rifled and is dirty from years of storage. All the metal parts are uncleaned and exhibit an overall black patina with minor pitting overall. The wood has nicks and dings with a few tiny hairline cracks from actual field use. Both front and rear sight are intact with a ramrod that appears to be a replacement. No discernible markings are visible on any of the metal parts. All of the mechanical functions are crisp and operate properly.
