Die struck lead filled Georgia oval waist belt plate. Sharp clear stamping with slight bend on one corner. the plate is on what appears to be leather salvaged from a Civil War cross belt and displays very nice. Many collectors feel that these plates quite possibly may have been produced by Emerson Gaylord. Nice example of a very hard-to-find plate non excavated.
