This exact Confederate Bowie knife is pictured on page of 245 of CONFEDERATE BOWIE KNIVES. Overall length 19 inches with a 13.625-inch blade. The scabbard appears to be tin covered in leather with a tin throat with a soldered-on belt loop. The leather on the scabbard has a few weak places as shown in my photos. The curved wood grip is fine with the exception of 2 cracks as shown in my photographs. The blade as several nicks and dings running down the edge of the blade. The book shown in my photographs is included in the purchase.
